Lesson 8: ITIL® 4 Service Management Summary

EXAM & CERTIFICATION

There are no mandatory prerequisites to attend the training or ITIL 4 Foundation exam. A basic understanding of IT & Service Management concepts is helpful.

About the exam

Once you complete the training, participant can schedule their ITIL V4 Foundation Exam by using the voucher .The exam is conducted by PEOPLECERT, and the certification is maintained by them. The exam is a closed book and has a rigorous assessment process.

Examination Format:
Questions: 40
Duration: 60 Min
Pass Score: > 65 percentile
Exam Type: Objective type, multiple choice questions

You will receive ITIL 4 Foundation results from 10-15 days after you take the ITIL V4 certification exam.

The ITIL V4 certification voucher will be valid it one year from the date of issuance

Yes. The ITIL V4 certification exam fee is included in the ITIL course fee.
The ITIL 4 Foundation certificate does not expire.
If you fail the ITIL 4 Foundation Exam, you are eligible to retake it by scheduling another appointment.

We hold a passing rate of 98.6% on the first attempt.
The classroom (physical or virtual) training for the ITIL Foundation certificate exam lasts for two days (minimum of 16 contact hours).

The ITIL Certification Scheme comprises of the following levels:

  • ITIL Foundation

  • ITIL Specialist modules (3)

  • ITIL Strategist

  • ITIL Leader

  • ITIL Master

Usually, it takes about 2 to 3 weeks to receive the certificate from the date of passing the exam.
The ITIL 4 Foundation certificate does not expire.
